Holiday Hours

The Greenspring campus library will be open 8-5 (excluding weekends and holidays) until the beginning of spring semester on January 18th. The college and library are closed from December 24th to January 2nd, and also January 17th.

The School of Business Library will be closed from Dec. 22nd until January 2nd when winter break hours of 8:30-5:00 will resume.

We we close at 7pm on Tuesday, November 23d and reopen Monday, November 29th at 8AM.

Reserve an E-Reader!

The Stevenson University Library now offers students, faculty and staff the opportunity to reserve e-Readers. We currently have Kindles and Sony Readers available for a loan period of one week. Sorry, no renewals.

Summer Hours 2010

The Greenspring Library will close at 6:00pm on Friday May 14th.

Summer hours begin May 17th:

Greenspring Campus Library
Monday - Thursday 8am-6pm
Friday 8am-5pm

School Of Business Library
Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 8:00pm
Friday - 8:30 to 4:30pm

Closed May 27th and June 11th for library retreats.
Closed weekends and holidays.

Food For Fines

Starting on May 3rd and continuing until May 15th (Finals Week), students will be able to pay their library fines with non-perishable food items at the Greenspring Campus Library.

Each canned good or food package donated will reduce overdue fines by $1-2.

Only overdue fines will be waived, and not replacement costs of lost items.

The kinds of food items the Library will accept include peanut butter, canned meat or fish, canned beans, stews and soups, canned fruits and vegetables, powdered milk, canned juice, boxed pasta and whole grain cereals. Unacceptable items include can/boxes with expired dates, damaged cans or boxes, ramen noodles, Koolaid or water, perishable food or food in glass jars and candy.

You don’t have to have fines to donate food.

Food will be donated to the Maryland Food Bank.

Spring Break Hours

We will be open at the Greenspring Library from 8am to 5pm from March 15 through March 19 (Mon-Fri). We will be closed the weekends of March 13-14 and March 20-21. As always, you contact us through email or using other means described here.
